World Heart Day : Free medical tests provided to journos, their families at Inodaya hospital

Free medical tests, including Random blood sugar, ECG, 2 D Echo screening and free cardiologists consultation were provided to the Journalists and their families at Inodaya hospital on 28th September on the eve of World Heart day.
More than 200 journalists and their family members were screened for cardiac problems and cardiologists Dr M Srinivas and Dr Adinarayana have rendered medical advice. They said everyone should have awareness about the cardiac problems and the first aid required during the first three hours of heart attack described as golden hour. They advised the journalists to keep away from cardiac problems by changing their life style besides proper medication and regular exercises.
Dr DNS Prakash ENT specialist also screened the Journalists for ENT problems on the occasion. Hospital Managing director Dr Godavarti Ramamohan said that the free medical camp for Journalists was organised considering it as a social responsibility.
