NGO donated blood to meet up demand: Urged others

Amidst the soaring cry for lack of blood in blood banks, an NGO Sudarshan Foundation donated blood through a camp at Kulai in the subdivision of Ambassa in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai on 23rd October.
The NGO arranged the blood donation camp at the Anganwadi Training Institute where 30 people donated blood voluntarily. The camp was inaugurated by the Vice-Chairperson of Ambassa Panchayat Samiti Arun Deb and the Medical Superintendent of District Hospital Dr Himadri Daring, Member-Secretary of District Disabled Rehabilitation Centre (DDRC) Dr Sanjoy Biswas, Sujit Sharma from the NGO remained present among others. The guests discussed the social, physical and moral values of blood donation. They also called upon the youths and organisations to come forward for the same.
The NGO Sudarshan Foundation has been working relentlessly for providing blood to the patients in need in the district hospital and also rendering actively in social works.
