Nagaland LFA Consultant informs of HIV situation

Nagaland State Consultant for the Legislators’ Forum on AIDS (LFA) Dr Vinito L. Chishi, has expressed concern over the “increasing number of HIV new infection in the State particularly in a district like Dimapur, Kohima, Tuensang and Kiphire.”
Addressing the HIV/AIDS advocacy programme held at Baptist Theological College (BTC) Pfutsero under Phek district yesterday, Chishi gave a presentation on HIV/AIDS Dr. Vinito stressed on the importance of church advocacy in response to HIV/AIDS and encouraged the students who are preparing to enter into church ministry and mission to make use of their leadership opportunity by taking positive initiatives in addressing the issues related to HIV/AIDS with regard to reducing stigma, discrimination and prevention aiming towards creating an AIDS-free generation in the days to come.
Hukatoli from LFA made a presentation on social concern on HIV/AIDS and living responsibly with particular emphasis on its consequences, challenges and importance.
