Huaman MA, et al. - This study investigated the link between latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) and acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Findings demonstrated an independent association of LTBI with AMI and, suggested a potentially crucial role of LTBI in cardiovascular disease.
