Jaruvongvanich V, et al. - Researchers examined population-based gallbladder cancer incidence and survival trends on the basis of clinical characteristics and sociodemographic factors in the USA. From 18 registries of the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results database, they obtained gallbladder cancer incidence and survival data from 2001 to 2012. Observations revealed overall stable incidence rates for gallbladder cancer during 2001–2012. Hispanics displayed the highest incidence rates, but a rise in the incidence rates was noted among Blacks.
