The association between electrocardiographic R wave peak time and coronary artery disease severity in patients with non-ST segment elevation myocardial infarction and unstable angina pectoris
Journal of Electrocardiology Sep 30, 2017
Rencuzogullari I, et al. - This study assessed a possible link between QRS duration (QRSD), R wave peaktime (RWPT), and coronary artery disease(CAD) severity identified using the SYNTAX score(SS). Findings demonstrated that in non-ST segment elevation myocardial infarction(NSTEMI)/unstable angina pectoris(USAP) patients, CAD severity was related to the presence of ST-segment depression (STD), ST-segment elevation in the AVR lead(AVRSTE), as well as prolonged QRSD and RWPT. Additionally, high SS could be predicted by RWPT and AVRSTE.
