Wong JCT, et al. - The effects of statin use on the risk of liver decompensation and death among patients with chronic viral hepatitis were determined. This propensity score weighted landmark analysis concluded that compared to non-users, patients with chronic viral hepatitis who used statins had a reduced risk of liver decompensation and death.
