Zhou C, et al. - Researchers analyzed studies reporting the links between statin use and survival outcomes for esophageal cancer patients, via this systematic review and meta-analysis. They analyzed five cohort studies involving 24,576 patients. They found that improved overall survival and disease-free survival were reported in relation to statin use in esophageal cancer patients.
