OncoTargets and Therapy Sep 12, 2018
Yi N, et al. - Researchers gauged the expression of serine/arginine protein kinase 1 (SRPK1) in colorectal cancer (CRC) tissues and cells and ascertained its related functions and mechanism. SRPK1 could have predictive value for CRC can be and could be a therapeutic target as well. In CRC tumor tissues and cells, SRPK1 was overexpressed, and was associated with with tumor node metastasis stage. Decreased cell growth and migration, significantly increased apoptosis, and suppressed angiogenesis, were the results of inhibition of SRPK1 by siRNA.
