Safety of uninterrupted periprocedural edoxaban vs phenprocoumon for patients undergoing left atrial catheter ablation procedures

Kottmaier M, et al. - In this study, the safety of uninterrupted edoxaban was compared with that of uninterrupted phenprocoumon when administered during left atrial (LA) radiofrequency (RF) ablation for atrial fibrillation (AF) and atrial tachycardia (AT). In patients undergoing LA RF ablation procedures, uninterrupted oral anticoagulation (OAC) with edoxaban or with phenprocoumon appeared equally safe.
