Risk factors for recurrences of central serous chorioretinopathy
Retina Jun 27, 2018
Matet A, et al. - Researchers described recurrence patterns and investigated candidate risk factors for recurrences of central serous chorioretinopathy. Using a frailty Cox proportional hazard survival model, parameters influencing recurrences were retrospectively assessed in 46 subjects with acute central serous chorioretinopathy and follow-up >12 months after first episode resolution. It was observed that multiple factors influence the risk of central serous chorioretinopathy recurrence and these findings could contribute to identifying subjects at higher risk, who could benefit from earlier or more intensive treatment.
