Rising trends in pancreatic cancer incidence and mortality in 2000–2014

Wu W, et al. - In the present study, researchers intended to describe and assess recent changes in pancreatic cancer incidence and incidence-based mortality in the US. Through SEER*Stat software, incidence and incidence-based mortality data were based on the 18 Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) registries. According to the findings, the incidence and mortality rates of pancreatic cancer in the US have increased significantly since 2000. The study findings highlight the need for increased preventive, screening, and surveillance efforts.
