Retinal detachment and retrobulbar cysts in a large cohort of optic nerve coloboma

Chen YN, et al. - Herein the association between retinal detachment and retrobulbar cysts in subjects with optic nerve coloboma (ONC) and Morning Glory syndrome (MGS) was examined by the authors. Results suggested that in MGS, retinal detachment occurred more frequently than in ONC. Eyes with retrobulbar cysts were noted to be more frequently associated with retinal detachment.
