Reliability of vessel density measurements in the peripapillary retina and correlation with retinal nerve fiber layer thickness in healthy subjects using optical coherence tomography angiography
Ophthalmologica May 03, 2018
She X, et al. - Experts assessed the reliability of vessel density measurements in the peripapillary retina using optical coherence tomography angiography (OCT-A) and evaluated the association with retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) thickness in healthy subjects. Good repeatability and reproducibility by OCT-A in the peripapillary retina were demonstrated by vessel density measurements. Findings suggested a positive relation between the vessel density to RNFL thickness and negative relation with optic disc area and rim area.
