Relationships of kin17 protein expression with clinical features and prognosis of colorectal cancer
Translational Cancer Research Sep 07, 2018
Ruan L, et al. - Authors gauged the associations of kin17 protein expression with the clinical features and prognosis of colorectal cancer (CRC). Findings suggested that in CRC tissue, the kin17 protein expression is remarkably up-regulated. The expression level of this protein is associated to the depth of tumor invasion, lymph node metastasis/distant metastasis, clinical stage, histological grade, and vascular invasion. Moreover, for CRC, kin17 protein is an independent prognostic factor. Compared to the paracancerous tissue, the kin17 protein expression was significantly higher in cancer tissue.
