                Ibrahim Z, et al. - The purpose of this work was to determine the capacity of copper alloys to reduce the bacterial burden associated with high-touch athletic center equipment. Researchers identified the potential of copper alloys in mitigating the bacterial burden on high-touch surfaces. In athletic centers, placing copper alloys strategically in areas of high human contact could enhance infection control efforts and potentially decrease community-acquired infections.
