Prognostic value of anxiety between heart failure with reduced ejection fraction and heart failure with preserved ejection fraction
Journal of the American Heart Association Jun 15, 2019
Lin TK, et al. - This is the first study comparing the prognostic value of anxiety between heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) and heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF). Between May 2012 and December 2014, a total of 158 patients with HFrEF and 108 patients with HFpEF were enlisted. According to findings, trait anxiety was independently linked to 18-month all-cause mortality, all-cause readmission or death, and cardiac readmission or death in HFpEF, but not in HFrEF.
