Prevalence and predictors of antibiotic prescription errors in an emergency department, Central Saudi Arabia

Alanazi MQ , et al. – Researchers aimed at evaluating inappropriate antibiotic (ATB) prescriptions in an emergency department of a tertiary care facility. They observed a high prevalence of ATB prescription errors in this emergency department, and this was particularly common with cephalosporin, narrow–spectrum ATBs, and UTI infections.
