Predictors of survival stratification in patients with wild-type cardiac amyloidosis
Clinical Research in Cardiology Sep 30, 2017
Aus dem Siepen F, et al. - This study assessed clinical predictors of mortality in patients diagnosed with wild-type transthyretin amyloidosis (wt-ATTR). Findings revealed that with respect to age at onset and morphological features, no sex-specific bias was observed between male and female patients. In the whole cohort, survival was independently predicted by mitral annular plane systolic excursion (MAPSE) and NT-proBNP, whereas in patients in sinus rhythm, the only identified independent predictor was midventricular longitudinal strain.
