Predictors and outcomes of heart failure with mid-range ejection fraction
European Journal of Heart Failure Dec 14, 2017
Bhambhani V, et al. - This study was conducted to assess clinical and biochemical predictors of incident heart failure with mid-range ejection fraction (HFmrEF) in the community. Findings demonstrated that predictors of incident HFmrEF overlapped with that of other heart failure (HF) subtypes. In contrast, HFmrEF had a mortality risk worse than heart failure with preserved ejection fraction, and similar to heart failure with reduced ejection fraction.
