Predicting risk of cardiac events among ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction patients with conservatively managed nonâinfarct-related artery coronary artery disease: An analysis of the Duke Databank for Cardiovascular Disease
American Heart Journal Sep 08, 2017
Hirji SA, et al. - This study assessed the risk of future major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) in patients who underwent complete revascularization during the index hospitalization for multivessel coronary artery disease ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). A wide spectrum of risk was reported after primary PCI for STEMI patients with multivessel disease. A simplified risk score designed by using readily available clinical characteristics can assist in calculating the expected incidence of MACE by 1 year.
