Huang YQ, et al. – This study including untreated patients with newly diagnosed essential hypertension, assessed the correlation between let–7 expression level and subclinical atherosclerosis. Significant evidence reported the potential of plasma let–7 in serving as a non–invasive marker for atherosclerosis in hypertensive patients and it heralds the emergence of a potential indicator to monitor end–organ damage in hypertension.
