Pacemaker reprogramming rarely needed after device replacement

Curila K, et al. - This study assessed patients who had undergone pacemaker replacement to determine rates of pacemaker reprogramming. As per findings, subsequent device reprogramming was not performed in the vast majority of outpatient visits following pacemaker replacement. This indicates the potential benefit of remote follow-up for these patients.
