Overload from anxiety: A non-motor cause for gait impairments in Parkinson's disease

Ehgoetz Martens KA, et al. - The physicians assessed whether trait anxiety influenced gait during single-task (ST) and dual-task (DT) walking. The outcomes proposed that in Parkinson’s disease (PD), trait anxiety could consume processing resources and possibly limited the ability to compensate for gait impairments.
