Optical coherence tomography angiography in retinal vein occlusions
Graefe's Archive for Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology Jun 21, 2018
Wang Q, et al. - Authors assessed the vascular density in different retinal layers and in the choriocapillaris in eyes with retinal vein occlusions (RVO). Upon OCTA, vascular abnormalities in the superficial and deep retinal layers were demonstrated by unaffected eyes of patients with unilateral RVOs when compared to those of healthy individuals. Compared to the contralateral eyes, lower choriocapillaris density, thicker foveal retinal thickness and subfoveal choroidal thickness, and the larger foveal avascular zone was noted in the RVO eyes.
