Awad EA, et al. - The intent here was to substantiate the sensitivity and specificity of parameters derived from a Scheimpflug imaging system (Pentacam) along with the variations in the quality of mesopic vision in the apparently normal fellow eye (forme fruste). The purpose was to detect the earliest and most sensitive parameters. Ambrosio relational thickness (ART) max was disclosed as being a highly sensitive objective parameter, in forme fruste keratoconus eyes. Contrast sensitivity and glare served as a vital subjective test, which was impacted in forme fruste patients.
