Tao Y, et al. - For this investigation, researchers systematically searched and analyzed studies published prior to October 1, 2017 in the PubMed, Embase, Ovid, Web of Science, and Cochrane Library databases to review the associations between nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) development. This meta-analysis found that the use of NSAIDs, particularly aspirin, was associated with a lower risk of HCC development and better survival in HCC populations.
