Djirackor L, et al. - Researchers coveted an investigation of the expression of nestin in primary (PUM) and metastatic uveal melanoma (MUM) and attempted to associate the findings with histological, clinical and survival data. It was discovered that increased nestin expression in PUM served as a predictor of a tumour phenotype related to metastatic progression and reduced survival time at the onset of metastasis.
