Longitudinal change of outer nuclear layer after retinal pigment epithelial tear secondary to age-related macular degeneration
Retina Jun 28, 2018
Oishi A, et al. - Authors gauged the longitudinal changes of outer nuclear layer (ONL) thickness in patients with retinal pigment epithelium tears secondary to neovascular age-related macular degeneration. In the area devoid of retinal pigment epithelium and also in adjacent areas, thinning of the outer nuclear layer (ONL) occurs after a retinal pigment epithelium tear. The degree of ONL thinning was predicted by few. New insight was provided by the findings in disease progression of this particular neovascular age-related macular degeneration subphenotype.
