Xue W, et al. - In this study, researchers evaluated the long-term changes in the symptoms of dry eye and vision-related quality of life in age-related cataract patients following phacoemulsification. They noted that the dry eye symptoms persisted more than 3 months post phacoemulsification combined with IOL implantation (Ph-IOL). Dry eye symptoms were negatively influenced by utility values.
