Lacrimal drainage anomalies in congenital rubella syndrome
Clinical Ophthalmology Nov 19, 2017
Gupta S, et al. - The purpose of this trial was to identify the lacrimal drainage anomalies in patients suffering from congenital rubella syndrome (CRS). It was determined that simple congenital nasolacrimal duct obstruction (CNLDO) was the most common of the lacrimal drainage anomalies (LDA) in CRS. The buried probe was disclosed to be universal among the cases with complex CNLDO. Screening for lacrimal anomalies was recommended for all CRS patients, in order to initiate appropriate interventions for successful outcomes.
