Zick J, et al. - This trial was conducted to ascertain if there were any unfavorable results of seeing the vitreoretinal surgery patients on the second rather than the first postoperative day. Based on the results, it was noted that postoperative vitreoretinal surgical patients could reasonably be seen on the second postoperative day, when logistics dictated, permitting them to be seen by their operative surgeon in a more convenient location.
