Integrated HIV testing, prevention, and treatment intervention for key populations in India: A cluster-randomised trial
The Lancet HIV May 06, 2019
Solomon SS, et al. - Researchers performed a cluster randomized trial using 22 sites across India (12 people who inject drugs [PWID] and ten men who have sex with men [MSM]) selected on the basis of high HIV prevalence and logistical considerations in order to evaluate the efficacy of integrated care centers providing single-venue HIV testing, prevention, and treatment services for PWID and MSM. Integrated care centers were found to increase HIV testing among visitors. Still, the findings of indicate the insufficiency of this scale-up of a single integrated care centers to serve the large PWID and MSM populations in most cities.
