Nord A, et al. – Experts aspired to describe whether the training level of laymen and medically educated bystanders effect 30–day survival in out–of–hospital cardiac arrests (OHCA). Medically educated bystanders initiated cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) earlier in cases of OHCA, and an increased 30–day survival was found compared with laymen bystanders. These outcomes supported the need to improve the education programme for laypeople.
