Yap SC, et al. - This study focused on the effect of unrevascularized chronic total occlusion (CTO)Âs on the occurrence of appropriate implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) therapy and all-cause mortality in out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) survivors with coronary artery disease. Researchers reported that CTO independently predicted the occurrence of ventricular arrhythmias but not mortality in this patient population.
