Verma R, et al. - A sum of 324 candidates were analyzed to estimate the variation in disability reported for subjects with radiculopathy in comparison with subjects with back pain only following adult spinal deformity (ASD) realignment surgery. They observed no difference in demographic or radiographic parameters among the 2 groups. Similar patient-reported outcomes (PROs) were noticed with a difference in leg pain among the groups. conclusively, increased pain and disability were observed in individuals with ASD. Persistence of increased pain and disability were recorded after surgical corrections too.
