Stahli BE, et al. - This study represents a single-centre, observational study, performed with an intent to determine the link between anemia and outcomes following percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) for chronic total occlusion (CTO). In this patient population, an association of anemia with an increased all-cause mortality was observed but no influence was evident on the survival benefit associated with successful CTO recanalization.
