Highly accurate identification of cystic precursor lesions of pancreatic cancer through targeted mass spectrometry: A phase IIc diagnostic study

Jabbar KS, et al. - The currently available diagnostic methods cannot accurated distinguish between premalignant and malignant pancreatic cystic lesions. In the current study it was demonstrated that highly accurate identification and assessment of cystic precursors to pancreatic adenocarcinoma was achieved by targeted mass spectrometry analysis of three cyst fluid biomarkers.
