Higher serum 25(OH)D level is associated with decreased risk of impairment of glucose homeostasis: Data from Southwest China
BMC Endocrine Disorders May 21, 2018
Li D, et al. - Using data from a representative study among Chinese adults without diabetes, researchers ascertained if a higher serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25(OH)D) was correlated with a more favorable glucose homeostasis. For this analysis, serum 25(OH)D concentration was measured in a cross-sectional sample of one thousand, five hundred fourteen adults without diabetes aged 25–65 years recruited from Southwest China. The data presented in this work showed a higher serum 25(OH)D level was associated with decreased risk of impairment of glucose homeostasis among adults without diabetes in Southwest China.
