Lieto E, et al. - The role of fluorescence imaging (FI) with indocyanine green (ICG-FI) for detecting peritoneal carcinomatosis (PC) from colorectal cancer (CRC) was determined. ICG-FI performed significantly better as diagnostic procedure than pre- and intra-operative conventional procedures. Intra-operative ICG-FI could improve outcomes in patients undergoing CS for PC from CRC.
