Fertility outcomes in women experiencing severe complications after surgery for colorectal endometriosis

                Ferrier C, et al. - Women wishing to conceive after experiencing a severe complication from surgical removal of colorectal endometriosis are investigated for the fertility outcomes. In this work, the pregnancy rate (PR) among these women is 41.2% (spontaneously for 80%, after ART procedure for 20%). Although the PR and cumulative pregnancy rate appear satisfactory, septic complications may negatively impact fertility outcomes. For these patients, rapid ART can be a good option.
