Kamakura T, et al. - This study looked at the safety of long-term use of beta-blocker (BB) and calcium antagonist (CA) in Brugada syndrome (BrS) patients. In this patient population, a prolonged treatment with BB or CA within normal dosage range did not aggravate electrocardiogram (ECG) parameters and clinical outcome. Furthermore, use of BBs and CAs was acceptable under careful observation.
