Xian L, Dong D, Luo J, et al. - In this study of 101 patients (81 with colorectal cancer and 20 with breast cancer), the histologic expression of THSD7A in colorectal or breast cancers was examined, and the correlation of THSD7A expression with proteinuria was assessed. The two types of tumor tissues showed very high positive expression rates of THSD7A, colorectal cancer had 97.5%, and breast cancer had 100%. As per findings, it might be having an important role in the development of proteinuria in patients with cancers.
