Samtani S, et al. - Researchers aimed to investigate repetitive negative thinking (RNT), a transdiagnostic process in the treatment of currently depressed, formerly depressed and never-depressed individuals. In the treatment and prevention of relapse in depression, the outcomes supported the utility of addressing RNT. These data also confirmed the utility of the Repetitive Thinking Questionnaire (RTQ) as a brief, transdiagnostic self-report measure of RNT.
