Evaluation of the effectiveness of combined femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery and femtosecond laser astigmatic keratotomy in improving post-operative visual outcomes
BMC Ophthalmology Jul 08, 2018
Wang J, et al. - Researchers ascertained the postoperative refractive and visual outcomes and astigmatic changes after femtosecond laser astigmatic keratotomy in femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery (FLACS). In order to manage preoperative astigmatism in cataract surgery, combined femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery and astigmatic keratotomy could be an effective approach, nonetheless, during short-term follow-up, slight undercorrection may exist. Experts noted that 0.85 ± 13.69° was the angle of error, which was close to zero.
