Efficacy of PRECICE nail in treatment of adult patients with posttraumatic femoral leg length discrepancy

Brinker MR, Amirian A, O'Connor DP, et al. - This study was carried out to assess the accuracy and complications during treatment in a series of skeletally mature patients with posttraumatic femoral limb length discrepancy. Researchers presented surgical techniques along with a case series of 8 patients. According to the results, the PRECICE nail indicated promising outcomes and was beneficial for bone regeneration and consolidation without the need for additional procedures. In comparison with previous methods, the rate of complications was low, making this device an excellent treatment option.
