Efficacy analysis of self-help position therapy after holmium laser lithotripsy via flexible ureteroscopy
BMC Urology May 25, 2018
Yang J, et al. - Authors ascertained the efficacy of self-help position therapy (SHPT) after holmium laser lithotripsy via flexible ureteroscopy (FURS). They retrospectively analyzed nephrolithiasis patients who had received FURS lithotripsy from January 2010 to November 2015. As per the results, postoperative SFS could be increased with SHPT after holmium laser lithotripsy via FURS, it could also accelerate stone fragment clearance, and decrease the incidence of hydronephrosis after removal of double-J stents. Professional assistance was not required by this therapy and it is economical, simple, and effective.
