Effectiveness and safety of polygeline in patients with hypovolemia due to trauma

Singh A, et al. – The effectiveness and safety of polygeline were investigated in adult patients with hypovolemia because of traumatic injury. This retrospective study concluded that in patients with hypovolemia due to traumatic injury, polygeline improved hemodynamic stability. Within 1 h (golden hour) of polygeline administration, the improvement was observed and maintained consistently. In patients with traumatic injury, polygeline could be safely administered to improve hemodynamic parameters and achieve stability.
