The Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology Apr 21, 2019
Lean MEJ, et al. - The DiRECT trial evaluated type 2 diabetes remission during a primary care-led weight-management program, researchers assessed the durability of the intervention effect. They recruited people aged 20-65, with type 2 diabetes lasting less than 6 years, BMI 27-45 kg/m2, and not receiving insulin between July 25, 2014 and August 5, 2016.
