Coyle K, et al. – Study authors carried out this investigation to describe the methods for EQUIPTMOD and identify key outcomes correlated with continued and cessation of smoking. They suggested that EQUIPTMOD facilitated assessment of the cost effectiveness of smoking cessation strategies. The results obtained from the study show large potential benefits from smoking cessation at both an individual and population level.
